Requirements

Dispatch needs a normal, modern WordPress stack and an SMTP path to the outside world. If you can install plugins and your host doesn’t treat outbound email like contraband, you’re good.

Server requirements

  • WordPress 6.2 or higher
  • PHP 7.4 or higher (PHP 8.0+ recommended)
  • MySQL 5.7+ or MariaDB 10.2+
  • WP-Cron enabled (for queue sending)
  • PHP memory: 64MB minimum (128MB recommended)

Visual Builder requirements

  • Modern browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge)
  • JavaScript enabled

SMTP requirements

  • SMTP host, port, username, password
  • Outbound port access (commonly 587 TLS or 465 SSL)

Recommended for deliverability

  • Dedicated email domain or subdomain
  • SPF and DKIM configured
  • Start conservative on sending limits and ramp up
