Common SuperMute Issues
Notification Access Not Working
- Open Settings β Apps β Special Access β Notification Access
- Enable SuperMute in the list
- Restart the app after granting permission
- Some Android versions require app restart
Restore Not Accurate
- Smart Restore respects manual volume changes
- If you changed volume while muted, it won’t restore
- Check if media/notification streams are balanced
- Some Android skins may interfere with restore
Some Audio Not Muting
- Google Assistant/Gemini audio cannot be muted by apps
- System sounds may be protected on some devices
- Alarms are intentionally left unmuted for safety
- Check if Do Not Disturb mode is interfering
App Not Responding to Tap
- Verify Notification Access is still enabled
- Clear app cache: Settings β Apps β SuperMute
- Ensure Android isn’t killing the background service
- Reinstall the app if issue persists
