USPS OAuth Shipping is intentionally minimal in surface area. Every setting exists to solve a real operational problem; nothing more.
Global Settings
Found under WooCommerce → M Media USPS.
These settings apply across all shipping zones.
- Client ID / Client Secret
Your USPS OAuth credentials. - Origin ZIP Code
The ZIP code packages ship from. This directly affects rate calculations. - Rate Adjustment (%)
Apply a global markup or discount. Negative values reduce rates; positive values increase them. - Handling Fee
A fixed dollar amount added to every rate. - Sandbox Mode
Routes requests to the USPS test environment. Use this when validating setup or troubleshooting. - Default Package Dimensions
Used when a product does not define its own dimensions.
Shipping Zone Settings
Configured per zone under WooCommerce → Settings → Shipping.
Each zone allows you to:
- Enable or disable USPS OAuth Shipping
- Customize the method title shown to customers
- Select which domestic and international USPS services are offered
- Define a fallback rate to display if the USPS API is unavailable
Fallback rates are optional but recommended for stores that prioritize checkout continuity.
