The Contact Wizard installs like any WordPress plugin. Once activated, set your notification email, choose a mail delivery method, and add the shortcode to a page — the wizard is live in minutes.
Install from WP.org (free version)
- In your WordPress admin, go to Plugins → Add New.
- Search for M Media Medigap Contact Wizard.
- Click Install Now, then Activate.
- Navigate to Medigap Contact Wizard → Settings to configure.
Install by uploading a ZIP
- Download mmedia-medigap-contact-wizard.zip from mmediasoftwarelab.com or WP.org.
- Go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin.
- Choose the ZIP file and click Install Now.
- Click Activate Plugin.
- Go to Medigap Contact Wizard → Settings to configure.
After activation
1. Set notification email
Go to Medigap Contact Wizard → Settings → Notification Email. This is the address that receives a full copy of every submitted lead. Defaults to the WordPress admin email if left blank.
2. Choose email method
Select Gmail OAuth, Custom SMTP, or WordPress default (wp_mail). For Gmail OAuth, enter your Client ID and Secret and click Connect Gmail. For SMTP, enter host, port, username, and password.
3. Add the shortcode
Create a new page (e.g., /get-a-quote/), add a Shortcode block, and enter [mmedia_medigap_wizard]. Publish the page — the wizard is now live.
4. Submit a test lead
Complete the 5-step form with dummy data and confirm the notification email arrives at your address. Check Medigap Contact Wizard → Submissions to confirm the lead was stored in WordPress.
That’s the full setup. For advanced options — branding, question customization, and Gmail OAuth — see the Configuration page.
