Installation
Installing Dispatch Core takes about two minutes. Have your SMTP credentials ready before you start — you’ll need them during first-time setup.
Before you begin
- Have your SMTP credentials ready: hostname, port, username, and password
- Confirm SPF and DKIM DNS records are published for your sending domain — without these, emails will likely land in spam regardless of plugin configuration
-
Confirm WP-Cron is enabled:
DISABLE_WP_CRONshould befalseor unset inwp-config.php
Install via WordPress admin (recommended)
- Go to Plugins → Add New Plugin
- Click Upload Plugin at the top of the page
-
Click Choose File, select
mmedia-dispatch-core.zip, then click Install Now - Click Activate Plugin
Install manually via FTP/SFTP
- Extract the downloaded zip file on your local machine
-
Upload the
mmedia-dispatch-core/folder to/wp-content/plugins/on your server - Log in to your WordPress admin, go to Plugins, and click Activate under Dispatch Core
First-time setup

- Enter your SMTP credentials and click Test Connection — confirm you receive the test email before proceeding
- Enter your physical mailing address in the Compliance section — required by CAN-SPAM law
- Set sending rate limits: start conservative at 30 emails/minute and 500 emails/hour; you can increase these after a few successful campaigns
-
Add
