Subscriber Management
Dispatch Pro includes everything in Core’s subscriber management, plus the ability to import subscribers from a CSV file. See Dispatch Core — Subscriber Management for statuses, filtering, individual subscriber actions, and export.
CSV import
The Import button appears on the Subscribers screen when Dispatch Pro is active and licensed. Use it to bulk-import an existing list — for example, when migrating from another email platform.
CSV format
- File encoding: UTF-8
- Delimiter: comma
- Header row required
- Required column:
email - Optional column:
first_name
Minimal example:
email,first_name
jane@example.com,Jane
john@example.com,John
no-name@example.com,
Import behavior
- Imported subscribers are added with Active status — they will receive the next campaign immediately
- Duplicate emails (already in the database) are silently skipped — no duplicates are created
- Malformed rows (missing or invalid email addresses) are skipped and reported in the import summary
- There is no undo for an import — review your CSV carefully before importing
Important: consent requirement
Only import lists where you have prior confirmed opt-in consent from every subscriber. Importing cold or purchased lists violates CAN-SPAM, GDPR, and the terms of your SMTP provider — and will damage your sender reputation. This tool is for migration, not acquisition.
