Known Limitations
These are features that are intentionally out of scope for the current version of Dispatch Core. They are not bugs. If a limitation is blocking you, Dispatch Pro may cover it — or it may simply be something not on the roadmap.
Not available in Dispatch Core
- Visual email builder — campaigns are written in WordPress Block Editor templates or raw HTML. A drag-and-drop builder is available in Dispatch Pro.
- Customizable transactional emails — the confirmation email, welcome email, and unsubscribe confirmation use the plugin’s built-in templates and cannot be edited in Core. Full transactional email editing is available in Dispatch Pro.
- CSV subscriber import — subscribers can only be added through the subscription form. Bulk import via CSV is a Dispatch Pro feature.
- Email open and click tracking — Dispatch does not inject tracking pixels or redirect links. No open rate or click rate data is collected.
- Campaign scheduling — campaigns are sent manually. There is no scheduled send feature.
- Subscriber segmentation — all campaigns are sent to all active subscribers. Segment-based sending is not supported.
- Email sequences / drip automation — there is no automated campaign sequence or drip functionality.
- A/B testing — not available.
- Multiple lists — Dispatch manages a single subscriber list per installation.
