Do I need Dispatch Core to use Dispatch Pro?

Yes. Dispatch Pro is an add-on plugin that requires Dispatch Core to be installed and active. Core handles the subscriber database, SMTP, the send queue, and the subscription form shortcode. Pro extends Core with the Visual Builder, transactional email editor, CSV import, and license management.

How many sites can I use Dispatch Pro on?

Each license covers one domain. If you need to use Dispatch Pro on additional sites, you’ll need a license for each one. You can deactivate a license from one domain and activate it on another — see the License & Activation page for details.

Does Dispatch Pro work on staging / local environments?

License activation is domain-based. Staging environments with different domains count as separate activations. If you need to test on a staging site, deactivate the license from your production site first, activate it on staging, then move it back when done.

Can I use the Visual Builder for transactional emails too?

Yes. The same Visual Builder interface is available when editing any of the three transactional email types (Confirmation, Welcome, Unsubscribe Confirmation) at Dispatch → Transactional Emails.

Will imported CSV subscribers receive a confirmation email?

No. CSV imports bypass the confirmation flow and set subscribers directly to Active. This is by design — imported contacts are assumed to have already given consent. You are responsible for ensuring the contacts in your import file have valid prior consent before importing.

Do I get free updates?

Yes. While your license is active, you receive all Dispatch Pro updates. Updates are delivered as a zip file you can install manually or, if auto-update is available, through the WordPress admin plugins screen.

What if I have an issue not covered here?

Use the Get Help page to contact us directly. Please include your WordPress version, PHP version, and a description of what you’re seeing. Screenshots and browser console errors are helpful.
