Known Limitations
These are features and behaviors that are intentionally out of scope or technically constrained in the current version of Dispatch Pro. They are not bugs, and most are deliberate design and scope decisions.
Gmail Android dark mode
Gmail on Android has its own dark mode rendering behavior that can
invert or alter the colors in HTML emails. Dispatch Pro injects
color-scheme: light only meta tags and CSS as a
best-effort mitigation. This works for most designs, but Gmail
Android’s rendering is inconsistent and not fully controllable by
email senders — it is not standards-compliant in this area. If precise
dark mode control is a hard requirement, Dispatch may not be the right
tool for your use case.
Not available in Dispatch Pro
- Email open and click tracking — Dispatch does not inject tracking pixels or redirect links. No engagement metrics are collected.
- Campaign scheduling — campaigns are sent manually when you click the send button.
- Subscriber segmentation — all campaigns go to all active subscribers.
- Email sequences / drip automation — no timed or conditional automated sequences.
- A/B testing — not supported.
- Multiple subscriber lists — one list per installation.
Large list performance
Dispatch processes the send queue in batches using WP-Cron. On shared hosting with WP-Cron running only when a visitor hits the site, large campaigns may take a long time to complete. If you have a large list (10,000+ subscribers), use a dedicated cron trigger and a reliable SMTP provider with generous rate limits. Dispatch is designed for the independent creator and small business audience — it is not engineered for enterprise-scale sending volumes.
