Desktop Audio - Windows & Linux
Reference Player pairs your music library, CD ripping, and line input with a real 31-band graphic EQ, VCA-style bus compression, and a brickwall limiter - built by a working mastering engineer, not a generic software team.
Under the Hood
Most media players are a file list with a play button. Reference Player runs your music through a real mastering-grade signal chain - VCA-style bus compression tuned to respond musically, a full 31-band graphic EQ for broad shaping or surgical correction, and a brickwall limiter to keep peaks in check. Real-time spectrum, phase, and BS.1770 LUFS metering run alongside playback, so you can see what you're hearing, not just adjust it blind.
Full ISO 1/3-octave resolution, ±12 dB per band, Loudness contour - broad tonal shaping or narrow correction for a specific room, speaker, or pair of headphones.
Threshold, Attack, Release, Ratio, dual gain-reduction meters, plus a true-peak brickwall limiter after the compressor stage.
RMS-based, warm backlit, calibrated by someone who reads them for a living - large enough to actually watch while you listen.
Three Views
Full Player is the complete control surface in one window. Strip Player carries the same real controls into a slim, dockable window that scales 75-200%. Mini Player lives quietly by the system tray for a glance or a skip. File, CD, or Line In - one transport, three sources, all running through the same DSP chain.
No Account. No Cloud.
Reference Player runs entirely local. Your library, your listening habits, and your line-in monitoring never leave your machine.
